| Cross-Center International AB is a company that was founded 1982 of Torbjörn Bergh and it all started with racing numbers. The idea was to be a small company by the side of the normal work but in the end of the 90’s it was to much work so I decided to start working full time. Today the company is a family owned company with my wife Helene as a part owner. The company has now 4 employees and 51 machines with over 6 000 articles for motocross, enduro and supermoto in an area of 2 000 M2. | |
| We are today selling directly to over 400 dealers in Scandinavia and are exporting to over 20 countries. Our own brand name CC PRODUCTS is a short name of Cross-Center products and is the name of parts that we make our selves. As we mentioned before it started with numbers and continued with tear-off’s and roll-off film. | |

| After a couple of years we started to make more products like lenses, anti-fog liquid, pit boards and a lot of other more or less successful projects. One funny project was to make M6 “Japanese” bolts, we had to make such big quantities that it did cost much more than the turnover of the company and that was a big investment. | |
| When the bolts arrived in our small warehouse there was people that told me that “with all these bolts I will never be able to sell them before I die”. Luckily they were wrong and today we are also making a lot of bolts and they are today an important part of our sales. | |

Construction of the hub |
|
|
In 1995 we started to think about making hubs because the hubs were much
to expensive and they had long delivery time. After a lot of
thinking we came up with the idea with an universal hub that should fit
all bikes, brands and years. This was very difficult and there is a reason
why there was so few makers of hubs in the world. About a year after we
started with this our supplier of spokes told us that they are closing
down the production of spokes. |
|
|
We took the decision to buy their spoke machine 1997 only to secure the
supply of spokes to our hub. Without any instruction books for the machine
and with a high price if you consider that the machine is made around 1930
I think that I can say that this was a “high risk” investment. |

Manufacturing of or patented universal hub |
|
|
We bought the best stainless spoke material in the world because we
wanted to have the strongest spokes to our hub. After some time we started
to get orders for OEM replacement spokes and today we have the widest
range of motocross, enduro and supermoto spokes in the world, all in stock.
Today the spokes are our number one product in sales. The spokes are an
very important part of our sales. |

CC Products stainless spokes |
|
| After we got started with the production of hubs and spokes
we thought that it would be good if we could make brake discs also. With
all the machines out there it shouldn’t be any problem? We couldn’t been more wrong, there is so many materials to choose from and we thought that if we just choose a very hard material like stainless or so it would be ok. This is of course wrong, the material have to be the “right” hardness and have a good brake coefficient. It’s also different materials depending of the use, street bikes has one kind, racing bikes is another kind, off-road is one and of course motocross is yet another material. It took over 2 years of testing before we found the right material. Since the start of our production in 1998 we did not have any complaints or any returns of our brake discs and we have today the worlds best brake discs for motocross and enduro. Today we have the widest range in the world of brake discs for motocross and enduro. |

| Our goal has never been to have as many brands/imports as
possible, we want to be the best. We want to have the widest range as
possible and we want to have it in stock.
We also want to have the highest possible service. |
|
| Another goal that we have is to manufacture as much as possible our selves in order to have full control of the manufacturing process. We think that outsourcing is a bad thing. | |
| Another thing that we are making is AP back protection and knee braces. Anders Persson, the owner of AP products, contacted us 2004 and he wanted to sell his company to us. We did not hesitate, and in February 2005 we bought the company and moved all the machines to our warehouse. We are now in full production of these products and it feels very good to have such a good brand in our company. | |
